Today half of us, the Peace Corps Trainees (PCTs), hiked Mashinde.
The hike was approximately 5 miles up and then 5 miles back down. It took around 4 hours to reach the top. The hike was definitely the longest and hardest hike I have ever done but also the most rewarding. The view was amazing from the top (and at many points along the way). From the top we could see all of Korogwe and many of the surrounding villages where we have our homestay families.
